Meet Our Doctors
Richard C. Bennett, M.D.
Dr. Bennett received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. He completed a urology residency at William Beaumont Hospital and a fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. In 2008, Dr. Bennett received the Clinical Research Award from the Sexual Medicine Society of North America. He continues to be actively involved in publishing journal articles and other medical research to advance the field of urology, with a special interest in men’s health.
Dr. Bennett has long-standing ties to the Lansing area. He was born here, studied at MSU, and met and married his wife here. During his senior year at MSU Bennett was diagnosed with testicular cancer and received his treatment right here in Lansing too. This played an influential role in his decision to pursue a career in urology and he hopes to give back to the medical community that played such a role in his own personal medical story.
Jamie M. Bartley, D.O.
Dr. Bartley obtained her undergraduate degree from University of Michigan and her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Urology residency with MSUCOM-Metro Detroit Urology, followed by a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Beaumont Health System in Royal Oak.
Dr. Bartley is actively involved in urology research, has multiple peer-reviewed publications, and is a frequent presenter at local and national meetings. Bartley has received numerous awards for clinical and academic excellence. Dr. Bartley also grew up in the Lansing area and is excited to be able to return to provide medical care to the community. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, running, reading, binge TV watching and spending time with her family.
Richard C. Sarle, M.D.
Dr. Sarle completed both his graduate and undergraduate degrees at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Burlington, Vermont in 1999.
Dr. Sarle was one of the first urologists in the United States to complete a fellowship in Robotic Urologic Oncology. As a member of the first robotic prostatectomy team at Henry Ford’s Vattikuti Urology Institute in 2001, Dr. Sarle assisted in the development of new robotic surgical techniques that are now used throughout the world. Dr. Sarle is one of few surgeons who have performed over 3000 robotic surgical procedures. Dr. Sarle has lectured, instructed, and performed robotic procedures in Europe, South America, and throughout the United States. Dr. Sarle has authored, co-authored, and presented multiple abstracts, articles, and book chapters in the area of robotic surgery, prostate cancer, and surgical teaching and training. Dr. Sarle is an avid tennis player and enjoys skiing and hiking with his family.
Roy A. Miller, D.O.
Dr. Miller completed his undergraduate degree at Colorado State University and his medical degree at Michigan State University (MSU), College of Osteopathic Medicine, Detroit Campus. He received his urology training at MSU and McLaren Healthcare.
Dr. Miller’s interests include kidney stones, robotic surgery, urologic oncology, and benign prostatic hyperplasia. Being born and raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, he is excited to be able to serve patients at the Sparrow Hospital and underserved surrounding areas.
Dr. Miller lives in Okemos with his wife and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, weightlifting, and various outdoor activities.
